This privacy policy describes how infernomakestuf.com ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our website and services, including our card games, cosmetic shop, supporter subscription, and dev log.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information depending on how you use the site:
Account information: If you sign in via Replit OAuth, we receive a user identifier and display name from Replit. We do not receive or store your Replit password.
Game activity: We log game sessions and completion events (with timestamps) to power site statistics and track your game history.
Cosmetics and purchases: We store which cosmetic items you have unlocked and your active selections. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers or full payment details.
Subscription status: If you subscribe to the supporter tier, we store your Stripe subscription ID and subscription status to manage your benefits.
Comments: If you post comments on dev log posts, the content of those comments and your username are stored and publicly visible on the site.
Guest sessions: If you play without signing in, we may associate gameplay activity with an anonymous session identifier for statistical purposes only. Because no identifying information is attached to guest sessions, we are unable to locate or delete guest data upon request.
How We Use Your Information
To provide and improve the card game experience
To track cosmetic unlocks and display your active card back in-game
To manage your supporter subscription and deliver monthly benefits
To moderate comments on the dev log
To generate aggregate site statistics (unique players, games played) for internal use
We do not sell your data to any third party.
Public Datasets
We may from time to time release anonymized game data as a publicly available dataset for research or educational purposes (for example, aggregated card game statistics or gameplay patterns). The following rules always apply to any such release:
No personally identifying information will ever be included in any public dataset. This includes usernames, account identifiers, email addresses, or any other information that could be used to identify an individual.
Signed-in users are opted out of public dataset inclusion by default. Your game data will not be included in any publicly released dataset unless you explicitly choose to opt in.
Signed-in users can manage their opt-in status in two ways: via the login pop-up that appears each session (unless the user has disabled it), which includes a clear opt-in/opt-out toggle; and via their account settings at any time. Opting in or out takes effect for all future dataset releases.
Guest session data may be included in public datasets in fully anonymous form. Because no identifying information is stored for guest sessions, we cannot selectively remove individual guest records from a dataset.
Data Deletion
Signed-in users may request deletion of their account data, including game history, cosmetic records, comments, and subscription data, by contacting us via the contact page.
Guest session data cannot be deleted upon request as no identifying information is stored that would allow us to locate records belonging to a specific individual.
Stripe Payments
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Stripe. When you complete a purchase, you are interacting with Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe may collect and store your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of successful payments from Stripe but do not handle raw card data ourselves.
Cookies
Our site may use cookies or local storage for session management (keeping you logged in) and for anonymous guest session tracking. Stripe may also set cookies as part of the payment flow. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality such as staying signed in.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the site grows and new features are added. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
